Here at Glengowla, our team work closes with numerous Secondary Schools to develop tours and programmes tailored to the curriculum of students.
Owner, Keith Geoghegan, has taken part in Junior Cycle Talks where he speaks with Fintan Walshe about mining technology, principles and the applications of the
minerals mined in Glengowla and the life of the miners who worked in the mine.
The Glengowla team have also conducted tours for secondary school students to correspond with curriculum strands of geography, history and biodiversity.
